HOW TO ENTER
* FOTF spotters will be roving from 12noon. A team of Fashions on the Field spotters will wander through the crowd selecting suitably dressed entrants for each category. You will be issued with a registration number and tag that must be displayed at all times until the winners of each category have been announced. The assembly point to meet at, prior to judging of each category, is at the staging area in front of the main hall.
Chahpingah Cafe’s serving counter is situated on the verandah of the Hall. The cafe will be serving devonshire tea, light lunches (sandwiches, wraps etc) and sweet treats from 11am. For those dining in, there will be several tables & chairs under the shade of the hall awning overlooking the track so you don’t miss any of the action! Chahpingah Cafe will also be serving takeaway food.
There will be hot food such as steak burgers and chips served out on the grounds by some of our hard-working community groups, Taabinga Rotary Club and Kingaroy Lions Club. By supporting these groups, you are supporting volunteers who give back much-needed funds into our region.
A ‘cashless’ bar is operated, so please buy your drink tickets before going to the bar. Tickets are available from various locations on the grounds.
As the sun sinks low and the horses head home, we set up our picnic table beside the traditional open fired barbeque pits. Enjoy dinner with your friends among the tall gum trees under a million stars. Choose your cut of meat onsite at the steak shed; grab a patch on the pit and watch as it transforms into a thick, juicy, smokey-flavoured steak. BYO alcohol at the BBQ Pits. (* BBQ dinner included in tour fee)
Burrandowan has a fantastic bush camping area located within easy walking distance to the track facilities & race day action. Facilities include flushing toilets and both men’s and women’s hot showers.
