Meet the local characters of the Outback. In Birdsville you will stay in ‘Tent City’, located near the heart of the town, close to all food vans and of course within a stone’s throw of the famed Birdsville Hotel.
A Single Supplement can be arranged for the Tents at Birdsville. Single Rooms on other nights can not be guaranteed but we will endeavour to make it possible.

Be at Brisbane Domestic Terminal at 11.30am to board your charter ATR72 for Birdsville.
An opportunity of a lifetime to see the Channel Country in Colour, after all, nothing beats Birdsville in September.
Fly over the Darling Downs, the Mulga Country and travel west over the Warrego, Paroo & Bulloo Rivers, the Cooper Creek and the Diamantina River for a cold beer at the famous Birdsville Hotel. Accommodation is in Tent City for the three nights right in the heart of Birdsville.
Visit the Birdsville School, Cemetery, Bakery and the Old Royal Hotel and the Historic Outback homes. Other options include various flights over Lake Eyre & Birdsville.
In the afternoon you will experience a memorable ‘Sunset Tour’ with champagne and nibbles overlooking the stunning Simpson Desert at sundown.
Later on call in at the famous Birdsville Hotel and take a peek at Fred Brophy’s Boxing Troupe for great entertainment
IT’S RACE DAY – Don your hats, dress to impress and place your bet.. you will see some real characters. Transfers to the Races and your ticket are included. The Crack Up Sisters will entertain throughout the day. Lap up the atmosphere and be entertained with music until midnight
Enjoy a leisurely morning in Birdsville before boarding your chartered flight back to Brisbane, arriving approximately 4pm.
