BIG RED BASH 2026 – Yeeh Ha!

GENUINELY AFFORDABLE – Pay first payment on booking and final payment  by 29 May 2026

Experience a 10-day personalised tour to the BIG RED BASH – the world’s most remote music festival.  Birdsville’s iconic Big Red Bash kicks off under the open skies of Australia’s Simpson Desert in the first few days of July.  Thousands of people from all over Australia get together for a rock concert off the beaten track.

Sing and dance to Aussie Music legends.

Ever wanted to go but had no way to get there?  Your hosts on this tour solve all the problems for you.  Tickets to the Big Red Bash will sell out – and wow, we will have tickets, sleeping accommodation, all the gourmet food you can eat on a guided, fun filled tour, there and back.  The OUTBACK PUBS BIG RED BASH TOUR offers lots of extras and features iconic pubs along the way.  Jump on board quickly to lock in your tickets.

See the itinerary below for the inclusions.  You will see Australia’s largest dinosaur, do some exclusive shopping, go swimming in hot artesian waters, experience a degustation, see the secrets of the World War II Air Force base, view some of the most spectacular scenery along the way and we will top it off with sunset drinks at special locations.

Rock’n’Roll music will play along the way as the tour travels through the Maranoa Country, into the Barcoo and the Diamantina featuring the Channel Country.  There’s been exceptional rain recently, so we look forward to wildflowers along the way.  The population of the Barcoo Shire is 360 and the Diamantina Shire is 266.  Diamantina Shire (Birdsville) host two iconic events each year and Karrabee specialize in tours to both events, the other one being the Birdsville Races.  This will be our ninth tour to Birdsville.

Book now for this tour across Outback Queensland & visit numerous iconic Outback Pubs along the way.  Enjoy the exclusive company of personal tour in an air-conditioned coach with all essentials on board.  Go sightseeing to see Australia’s real Outback and its people.

At the Bash – join the BASHVILLE DRAGS – Like all good outback towns, Bashville will be home to some races in 2026. However these races will be a little bit different to the iconic Birdsville Races. They won’t be horse races, they will be Drag races! What we mean by that is that they will be short fun running races through the campsite, (approximately 500m with a steep incline – basic level fitness required!) but to be eligible to enter you will be required to be dressed in a “Priscilla – Queen of the Desert” theme.

There will be some special prizes on offer for the winners. There are prizes for Drag Queens and Drag Kings so we encourage everybody to get involved! Only the most exceptional outfits will be chosen by the panel of volunteer judges to be shown on stage. So “drag” out your best Pricilla outfit, and be part of the fun and frivolity.

This truly is a tour of a lifetime – so book early
