An opportunity of a lifetime to see the Channel Country in Colour, after all, nothing beats Birdsville in September.
Fly over the Darling Downs, the Mulga Country and travel west over the Warrego, Paroo & Bulloo Rivers, the Cooper Creek and the Diamantina River for a cold beer at the famous Birdsville Hotel. Accommodation is in Tent City for the three nights right in the heart of Birdsville.
Visit the Birdsville School, Cemetery, Bakery and the Old Royal Hotel and the Historic Outback homes. Other options include various flights over Lake Eyre & Birdsville.
In the afternoon you will experience a memorable ‘Sunset Tour’ with champagne and nibbles overlooking the stunning Simpson Desert at sundown.
