Ever dreamed of going to the Big Red Bash? Join us in July 2026 for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure to the Big Red Bash – make the journey to the most remote music festival on the planet, set beneath the vast skies of the Simpson Desert near Birdsville.
This 10-day tour is all about fun, great music, and iconic outback experiences – with everything taken care of. That means your ticket to the Bash, comfortable accommodation, gourmet meals, and a fully guided, air-conditioned coach tour with a bunch of like-minded travellers.
We’ve added a few special touches too – sunset drinks in spectacular locations, a couple of hot spa experiences and an exclusive shopping stops, and even a degustation lunch

Amamoor – Chinchilla—Roma—Mitchell—Morven
The tour departs Amamoor at 6am traveling to Chinchilla and follows the Warrego Way. Lunch is at Dulacca Pub and is the first of many memorable outback pub experiences. We travel through Roma Australian Spa, then stop at Muckadilla Pub for a quick beer. Rebuilt after a fire in 2019, the Mucka Pub is one of the newest pubs in the Outback. We travel on through the Maranoa Country to the Sadleir’s Waterhole for the evening meal. Accommodation is at the Cambridge Motel in Mitchell.
Morven—Charleville—Cooladdi—Quilpie—Windorah
A coffee and quick shopping experience at Gidgee Smith Bags starts the day. Breakfast will be serviced at the Corones Hotel in Charleville. We will tour the town before heading west to the Fox Trap Hotel at Cooladdi. We will stop to purchase last minute essentials at Quilpie. This is your last chance to purchase alcohol or obtain cash out. As we enter the Barcoo we cross into the Channel Country. Accommodation is at the Windorah Hilton. This is a town full of surprises including the Western Star Hotel.
Windorah—Betoota—Birdsville and BIG RED BASH
The tour continue on the Warrego Way further into the Channel Country with some magnificent scenery from Deon’s Lookout. At Betoota Pub we don on the baggie hats and play cricket after lunch. Betoota was previously a ghost town but now has a population of 2. Excitement builds as we enter the Diamantina River Basin. There’s lots to see along the way as we travel past the Birdsville Race track, over the Diamantina River into Birdsville township for a beer at the Birdsville Pub. After checking out all to see in Birdsville we will drive another 35km drive to Big Red where we can take in the Sunset and get comfortable in tented accommodation.
Birdsville’s iconic Big Red Bash kicks off under the open skies of Australia’s Simpson Desert. You will meet thousands of people from around Australia, and the world. The concert is definitely off the beaten track – but that’s what makes it so special!

Big Red—Birdsville—Betoota—Windorah
The touring party depart Big Red as early as possible and join the procession of vehicles eastward bound. A beer at the Betoota Pub will be an essential part of the return trip and everyone will savour the moment they have a hot shower back at our accommodation, “The Windorah Hilton”. Most will do the 300metre walk to the Western Star Hotel that night for a refreshing ale
Windorah— Eromanga—Noccundra—Eulo—Thargomindah
After departing the Barcoo, the tour visits the very popular Eromanga Natural History Museum to see Australia’s largest dinosaur, followed by a drinks stop at the Royal Hotel. This hotel was once the furtherest Cobb and Co Hotel from the sea. Next stop Noccundra is an outback time capule. The only building left is the heritage listed sandstone Noccundra Hotel, and it’s an experience you will remember. Travelling east we travel to town of Thargomindah which was devastated by floods in 2025.
Thargomindah-Cunnamulla-Bollon-St George
Bring your togs because we are on the Adventure Way to the Cunnamulla Hot Springs. After a relaxing morning we travel east, visiting Cubby Station before entering St George for a curated 5 course experience of small dishes and wine tasting at Riversands Winery. Overnight accommodation and dining is at the Australian Hotel on the banks of the Balonne.
St George—Moonie—Dalby—Amamoor
The last day is a leisurely drive through the Western Downs to Dalby for lunch at the Russell Hotel and with drop offs along the way.
