Karrabee Bus + Coach is an accredited operator under the Transport Operations (Passenger Transport) Act 1994. All fleet operations of Karrabee Bux + Coach comply with the Queensland Transport & Main Roads regulations
All Karrabee Bus + Coach drivers hold the appropriate current Heavy Vehicle Driver’s Licences as well as Queensland Driver’s Authorisations to drive and operate a public passenger vehicle under the regulation of the national work diary.
Karrabee Bus + Coach has the appropriate insurances to ensure that our employees, customers and associates are in safe hands. Our insurances include Public Liability Insurance to the value of $20 million, Fleet Certificate of Currency and Workers Compensation.
Each vehicle in the Karrabee Bus + Coach fleet is maintained in peak condition by specialist mechanics All vehicles are fitted with seat belts for your safety and drivers are trained regularly in all facets of customer care.
As training is an important factor of the employment process, drivers complete a Certificate III in Driver Operations while cleaners complete Certificate III in Asset Management.
Recent training was organized through the National Workforce Development Fund to help drivers see a strong future in the bus industry.
