Country Racing at its best
Jump on board for a trip to the middle of nowhere for country racing at its best! The Burrandowan Picnic Racing Club excel with an exhibition of Country Racing. Dress for “Fashions of the Field” and showcase the glamour and style that is synonymous with Country Racing. Dress to impress because there are great prizes to be won.
The price includes bus fare, a Picnic Brunch at Goomeri and Race Entry.
There’s a stop over at Murgon RSL for an evening meal of your choice at your cost on the return journey.
We suggest you bring an umbrella and a warm coat (for that just in case moment), no need to bring a chair, we have that covered.
There are no ATM’s or EFTPOS facilities (you will need to bring cash), no mobile phone reception and no resorts near by, just lots of people having a great time.

We travel from Eumundi through to Cooroy, The Mary Valley onto Gympie , then a stop at Wondai for morning tea, arriving in plenty of time for the races.
Fashions on the Field showcase the glamour and style that is synonymous with country racing.
At the Burrandowan Picnic Races you will be given the opportunity to present your finest in trackside fashion! Fashions on the Field offer entrants the chance to flaunt their racing style and win some fantastic prizes. * FOTF spotters will be roving from 12noon. A team of Fashions on the Field spotters will wander through the crowds to select contestants. Be prepared.
On the way home after a fabulous day out at the Country Races, we stop at RSL Murgon for a delicious dinner.
