Cobar – morning – time to be advised
Join the tour at Cobar, see the outstanding rose gardens at the Great Cobar Heritage Centre and travel on through Wilcannia to Broken Hill. By night fall we will be on site at Mundi Mundi Base. During our stay in the Broken Hill area we will visit the Palace Hotel and the Line of Lode Complex.
Enjoy a unique Australian celebration of music, mate ship and adventure. See the brilliant shades of orange and purple as a stunning natural backdrop to the Bash. Dance to the sounds of the entertainment for the 2026 Bash with The Teskey Brothers, Jon Stevens, John Butler, The Whitlams, Jessica Mauboy and many more. Have a beer at the Silverton Hotel and the Mad Max Museum during your stay.
The touring party depart the Mundi Mundi plains as early as possible and lead the procession of vehicles eastward bound. We travel back along the Barrier Highway to Wilcannia and turn north to a town full of surprises. Stay in dugout (underground) rooms carved into the rock, a quiet, quirky and memorable experience.
